Massachusetts Association of Minority Law Enforcement (MAMLEO)

The Massachusetts Association of Minority Law Enforcement (MAMLEO) are proud to partner with State Representative Christopher Worrell and City Councilor Brian Worrell to make a meaningful difference in their community this holiday season. Together, they are organizing a special initiative to give away free turkeys to those in need this Thanksgiving. 

MAMLEO was founded to address the unique challenges faced by minority officers, and provide essential support, advocacy, and professional development opportunities for their members. Their organization works diligently to ensure fair treatment, equitable hiring practices, and career advancement for minority law enforcement personnel. As an organization, they are always looking for ways to give back to the communities they serve, and together, they can demonstrate the power of collaboration and compassion, making real change in the lives of thousands of Bostonians. 

MAMLEO had an extremely successful Turkey Drive last Thanksgiving where we distributed over 1,500 turkeys to residents of Dorchester, Roxbury, and Mattapan, exceeding the original goal. This year, they are aiming to give away 5,000 turkeys! With your help, they can accomplish this goal that will spread joy around Boston and will alleviate some of the financial burdens that many families face during this time of the year. They firmly believe that everyone deserves a warm and hearty meal, especially during the holidays, regardless of their socioeconomic background.

On Thursday, November 14th, Chick-fil-A and The Greg Hill Foundation will be honoring MAMLEO with a Chick-fil-A prize pack including Chick-fil-A for one year, and a donation to help successfully hand out 5,000 turkeys this year. A total of $5,000 will be donated to their cause, $3,500 from our Hero Fund and $1,500 raised from The Copley Square Chick-fil-A’s Cookies for a Cause drive.
